The population in Kalsel increases
Seekor bekantan (Nasalis larvatus) is in the Curiak Island Research Station area belonging to the Indonesian Bekantan Foundation in Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan, Friday (23/6/2023). Yayasan Sahabat Bekantan Indonesia in South Kalimantan in 2023 managed to increase the population of 14 tails to be about 35 tails as well as as the efforts of the South Kalimantan Provincial Government in the preservation of the environment and the forest inserts the Curiak Bekantan Conservation to become one of the meratus geopark sites that are submitted to Unesco Global Geopark (UGGp).
