Plantation of trees in Tofu Sultan Syarif Hasyim Riau

Executive Director Belantara Foundation Dolly Mentna (mid) exhibited an area map to Japanese students from SMA Sakado and Unniversitas Tsukuba before the action of planting trees in the Tofu Sultan Syarif Hasyim area, Giam Siak Small-Bukit Stone, Riau, Friday (4/8/2023). Activities conducted by Belantara Foundation, KPHP Minas Knowra, Asia Pulp & Paper Japan Ltd and Asia Pulp & Paper Sinar Mas is one of the activities in commemorating Global Tiger Day, National Nature Conservation Day, International Gajah Day and International Orangutan Day and aimed at providing education to society especially young generations about the importance of actively involved in conserving nature and living environment in Indonesia.
