Production of sugar aren in Reading Island

Farmers cooking nira water to be processed into sugar aren when the process of making sugar aren in Kampung Makian, Bacan Island, South Halmahera Regency, North Maluku, Thursday (10/8/2023). Production of sugar isn traditionally takes three hours to a day, and can produce up to 150 molds that are marketed to several areas that are Ternate, Sanana and Obi, sold at Rp 10 thousand per fruit.
