Mount Merapi lava dome volume

Asap solfatara out of the lava dome of Mount Merapi seen from Cangkringan, Sleman, in Yogyakarta, Saturday (26/8/2023). According to BPPTKG data the 18-24 August 2023 observation period based on the analysis of the lava dome morphology southwest of Mount Merapai experienced changes due to the growth and fall of lava with volume of 2.764.300 cubic meters and the middle lava dome voume of 2.369.800 cubic meters, while the status of Mount Merapi siaga (level III).
