Ritual Faladamo on Kampung Nelayan Tomalou 2023

A number of Yaya Segoa (the old adat) brought sesajen to the boat to do Faladamo ritual at the opening of the Tomalou Village Festival (FKNT) 2023 in the Tidore City of the Islands, North Maluku, Tuesday (12/9/2023). The Faladamo ritual is usually carried out by fishermen before launching a new boat made from galangan to the sea to suspend the famous Tomalou leluhur Kemalou as fisherman and resilient with the long history of the ocean fleet success as well as maintaining the heritage of Tidore’s culture.
