SURABAYA, 7/3 - THE DEATHS OF SURABAYA ZOO'S ANIMALS. A Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae), an Indonesia's endemic animal, is seen in its enclosure at Surabaya Zoo, East Java province, March 7, 2012. According to the zoo's temporary management team, the number of animals died in the zoo during 2009 is 319 while in 2010 it declined to 269, and up to September 2011, a total of 245 animals died.
