Wide harvest padi in Sulteng rise

Farmers examined the rice fields prepared in Pewunu Village, Sigi, Central Sulawesi, Monday (16/10/2023). Although rice harvesting area is nationally according to BPS is estimated to shrink up to 14,93 per cent or 117.894 hectares due to El Nino, but Central Sulawesi’s Food and Horticulutura Plant’s Office claimed to have a large increase in harvest from 136.764 hectares during January-October 2002 to 144.995 hectares of the same period in 2023.
