MELASTI CEREMONY

MAGELANG, 21/3 - UPACARA MELASTI. A number of Hindus walks down rice fields to implement Melasti ceremony in the spring of Kali Mas, Lebak, Grabak, Magelang, Central Java, Wednesday (21/3). Before the Nyepi period of the Hindus did the Divines with the Melasti ceremony, also called Melis/Mekiyis by practicing all the means of the fighter in Pura (the sacred place) to the beach, lake, or the sacred water source (the amerta) and can purify all the cheerful (chotor) in humans and nature.
