The area of oil palm plantations in the Water Land

Based on the data of the Ministry of Agriculture, the total area of oil palm plantations in Tanah Air rises from 14,9 million hectares in 2022 to 16,38 million hectares in 2023 with details of 53 per cent or 8,64 million hectares belonging to private companies, while 42 percent or 6,94 million hectares are stated as a folk plantation and 800 thousand hectares in the company’s ruler of State Owned Enterprises (BUMN).
