The Surgery of Sumatran elephant died in West Aceh

BKSDA Aceh’s officer with the team of veterinary veterinarians in Sumatran elephants (Elephas maximus sumatrensis) when necropsis process in Lancong Village Forest, Sungaimas, West Aceh, Aceh, Wednesday (20/12/2023). The five-year-old female elephant surgery is carried out to take a number of organ samples in the elephant's body such as intestinal liquids, limpa, liver, blood, intestinal cuts, hearts, and impurities for laboratory tests to facilitate the process of investigation of the cause of death.
