Traditional miners in Obi Island

A traditional miner has a hole wall containing gold in the People's Mining, Anggai Village, Obi Island, South Halmahera Regency, North Maluku, Saturday (3/2/2024). The miners in the area still rely on the tools as it is to take the material (batu rep) inside the deep hole up to 50 meters and for the two days the miner is able to collect 170 woven material that will be carried to the tromol entrepreneur to be processed into raw gold.
