Floods soak seven districts in Demak

People leave their homes submerged floods due to the Jratun-Wulan River embankment, in the village of Undaan Kidul, Karanganyar District, Demak District, Central Java, Thursday (8/2/2024). According to the temporary data called BPBD Demak Regency, floods due to deras rain from the hulu region as well as overflowing water to the river embankment on the Jratun River, Wulan River, Tuntang River, and Cabean River that is not able to hold the discharge causing the flood of 16 villages in seven Demak Districts since Monday (5/2).
