Pao Un ceremony at Klenteng Semarang

A number of Tridharma people burn ship replicas and paper people in the procession of the ceremony of Pao Un at Klenteng Tay Kak Sie, Semarang, Central Java, Saturday (17/2/2024). The ceremony of Pao Un held by the Chinese ethnic descendants in the city of Semarang as a tradition in every beginning of China’s new year, to pray to be charged from malapetaka or rejecting bala as well as hope to get blessings, salvation and happiness and peace for the nation and the country.
