Tradition Open Village Kapatcol Papua

Tetua Adat Kampung Kapatcol Yoseph Weutot (right) along Tokoh Chick Almina Kacili (two left), Petuanan Adat Yohanis Hay (three left) and Alex Mangar (two right) led the Tradition Open Sasi process in Misooling, West Misool District, Raja Ampat Regency, West Papua Daya, Monday (25/3/2024). Sasi is a tradition of customs in managing sustainable marine resources under the findings where in the process of Open Sasi Women Waifuna Group and Kapatcol community supported by the Nusantara Nature Conservation Foundation (YKAN) can harvest the agreed marine biota, such as the teripang, lobster and lola.
