QRIS users’ growth in Indonesia

The Customer scans the Quick Response Indonesia Standard (QRIS) digital payment bar code provided in a Klojen Folk Market, Malang, East Java, Monday (6/5/2024). Bank Indonesia (BI) transactions through QRIS on April 2024 grew 175,44 percent annually (year on year/yoy) with the number of users reached 48,12 million while the number of merchants is as much as 31,61 million which is mostly Medium Small Micro Business (UMKM).
