Mount Ibu in Western Halmahera rises status to standby

BNPB’s officer dragged the condition of Mount Ibu post erupsi seen from West Halmahera District Village, North Maluku, Thursday (9/5/2024). The Center of Vulkanology and Mitigasi Disaster Geology (PVMBG) announced the rise of the status of Mount Ibu from previously recorded the level II to the level III ethically calculated on Wednesday (8/5) at 10:00 WIT, so the community in the area was encouraged to be not active in the radius of 3 kilometers.
