Ciliwung River normalization

People install temporary embankments near the settlement of the inhabitants of the Ciliwung River, Manggarai, Jakarta, Tuesday (14/5/2024). The Provincial Government of Jakarta declared the ciliwung River’s normalization of 17 kilometers is conducted gradually due to the social impact that needs to be taken into account although President Joko Widodo targeted that normalization was completed at the end of 2024.
