Revision of Broadcasting Act

A number of journalists held the action of the Revision of the Act (RUU) Broadcasting in the Chair of the DPRD Jember, East Java, Thursday (16/5/2024). The journalists joined the Independent Journalist Alliance (AJI), Indonesian Television Journalist Association (IJTI) and Indonesian Wartawan Association (PWI) rejected the Broadcasting Bill as a number of articles in it threatened the freedom of press in Indonesia.
