Seven villages were affected by volcanic ash eruption of Mount Ibu

People clean the nuts affected by ash volcanic eruption of Mount Ibu in Village Tuguis Utara Halmahera Regency, North Maluku, Friday (17/5/2024). Pascaerupsi Gunung Ibu on Friday (17/5) morning around 08.00 WIT by removing volcanic ash as high as 4 kilometers led to seven villages in North Mom District stranded ash rain, while the mountain is currently still showing increased activity and status awas level IV.
