Laka root processing for export

Workers cut laka tree roots (Dalbergia parviflora) in one of the laka root production houses in Banda Aceh, Aceh, Monday (24/6/2024). A laka root collected from the farmers is used as a raw material of making bagbih seeds, dupa, herbs and exported to China and Taiwan at a price of Rp10.000 to Rp35,000 per kilogram depending on the quality of its root.
