Weather Modified Operation in Central Kalimantan

Pilot Skadron IV Lanud Abdul Rachman Saleh Malang Lettu Edwin Aldrin checked the condition of NC-212i Cassa aircraft before flying to implement Weather Modification Operation (OMC) at Riwut Tjilik Airport, Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan, Tuesday (9/7/2024). BMKG along the peat and Mangrove Restoration Agency (BRGM) did OMC by sowing salts of 800kg in the air as a peatland for preventing forest fire and land in Central Kalimantan.
