Fish sales decline due to formalin in Palu

Traders hit Cakalang fish sold in Masomba Market, Palu, Central Sulawesi, Monday (22/7/2024). Fish sales in the market undergoes a turnover of up to 75 percent after the results of the UPT Laboratory of Supervision and Quality Certification and Food Safety (PSMKP) The Sulteng Food Department released its test results mentioning from 24 fish samples sold on the market, 22 samples among which are positively using boraks or formalin as a preservative.
