Meteorology, Klimatology and Geophysics (BMKG) Class I Sultan Iskandar Muda (SIM) Aceh Besar issued early warnings for 28 July to 3 August 2024 with a strong wind potency of speeds ranging from 15-40 kilometers per hour and high sea waves reached 2.5 meters, especially in the Northern waters of Sabang, the West waters of Aceh and the waters of the West Indian Ocean Aceh, so that the fishermen are targeted to always be wary and do not force the melaut if there is a high wave.
