AMMONIUM NITRATE FACTORY

BONTANG, 16/6 - AMONIUM NITRAT FABRIC. The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia Purnomo Yusgiantoro (2 left) inaugurates the factory of ammonium nitrate PT Kaltim Nitrate Indonesia (KNI) in Bontang, East Kalimantan. The inauguration marks the beginning of the largest AN plant in Indonesia and ensures the readiness of the Ammonium Nitrate plant (AN) which has a 300.000 MT/year Ammonium Nitrate production capacity to support the Indonesian mining industry. KNI factory which is one of the strategic industry under the supervision of the Ministry of Defense will also reduce dependence of import Ammonium Nitrate (AN) and will save the country’s devisa.ANTARA PHOTO/HO/pd/12
