BRIN develops pest resistant corn varieties and climate change

A number of corn harvesters in the Temayang, Bojonegoro, East Java, Monday(14/10/2024). National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) through the Food Plant Research Center collaborated with PT Conterva Agriscience Seeds Indonesia, Faculty of Agriculture of Hasanudin University, and Udayana University (UNUD) in particular the Faculty of Agriculture Dry Land Program developed corn varieties capable of adapting to various environmental conditions and climate change as well as resistant to disease pests, currently has been found about 10 kinds of new hybrid corn sources and middle test potency results of varieties.
