SURABAYA, 17/4 - KAYU ILEGAL. Pangarmatim, Laksda TNI Moekhlas Sidik (center) witnessed as many as 1354 stems or about 5416 round wooden cubic meters (logs) types of Merbau allegedly from the Buru Island, successfully secured KRI Panana-817 belonging to TNI AL in the Komando Armada RI East Area (Koarmatim), Tuesday (17/4) when transported a Kian Guan-02 barges and pulled the tug boat Theodore on Namlea waters, Buru Island, Maluku. This disclosure is the largest illegal logging case in early 2007 that managed by the TNI AL apparatus from Koarmatim teaching.
