LATEST, 7/10 - NASIB PULAU PADANG. The wood piles rot in the concessions of PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (RAPP) in Padang Island, Meranti Islands, Riau, Saturday and (6/10). After the Ministry of Forestry stops RAPP operations since January 2012, it is estimated about 500 people of Padang Island cannot continue the planting work in that area, including the termination of 17 local contractors who have partnered with companies in various activities.FOTO ANTARA/FB Anggoro/Koz/pd/12.
