PADI PRODUCTION TARGET

JOMBANG, 4/12- PRODUCTION PADI. One of the farmers cast rice seedlings to be taught in part of the rice fields of Betic Village, Kesamben District, Jombang, East Java, Tuesday (4/12). Based on the data of the Ministry of Agriculture targeted the production of rice in 2013 rising by 6.25% or being 72.1 million tons of dry giling (GKG) from this year the production of rice is estimated as 67 million tons of GKG. The target has been revised from the early rice production target of 2012 by 74 million tons of GKG or equivalent to 41, 4 million tons of rice and early target in 2013 by 77.7 tons of GKG is equivalent to 43.51 million tons of rice.
