SERANG, 21/12 - BIRD FLU PREVENTION. Officers from Banten's Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Department helped by residents cull ducks suspectedly contaminated by bird flu virus in Sukadana village, Kasemen, Serang, Banten province, December 20, 2012. After reported cases of the death of hundreds of ducks in the area, the department's officers immediately responded by giving counseling to farmers, banning inter-region duck trading, and distributing disinfectants and bird flu vaccines.
