DENPASAR, 28/12 - TURTLE SMUGGLING. An officer of Bali's Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) measures the carapax of a green turtle (Chelonia mydas) found at Kutuh Beach in South Kuta, as they are seized and taken to a temporary shelter of BKSDA, December 28, 2012. Twenty two green turtles tied with ropes were found on the beach on Friday and it was suspected that there had been an attempt to smuggle and sell the turtles.
