VOLCANIC MOUNTAIN MONITORING

JAKARTA, 14/3 - VOLCANO OBSERVATORY. Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Purnomo Yusgiantoro (L) gives a souvenir to U.S. Ambassador to Indonesia Cameron R. Hume after signing the volcano observatory partnership in Jakarta March 14, 2008. Partnership between ESDM’s Department of Geology and United States Geological Survey was aimed to observe volcanoes in North Sulawesi, a total of 11 volcanoes from 129 volcanoes in Indonesia.
