FEMALE KHITAN PROHIBITION

JAKARTA, 21/1- PEREMPUAN KHITAN GROUP. Chairman of Fatwa MUI Ma'ruf Amien (right) accompanied by Deputy Secretary General of MUI Amirsyah Tambunan (left) gave a description of the prohibition of female khitan in MUI office, Jakarta, Monday (21/1). The Indonesian Council and Islamic Ormas declared rejecting the prohibition of female khitan by the government or any party, because the female khitan is part of the religious teachings that carry out it is the right of human association protected by the Basic Act.
