A number of workers do the loading of sponge iron (iron sponge) domestically shipped from PT Meratus Jaya Iron & Steel (MJIS) South Kalimantan, at the port of Krakatau Bandar Samudera, Cigading, Cilegon, Banten, Friday (8/3). The 5000 metric tons of iron sponge as raw material of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk is a commitment of PT Meratus Jaya Iron & Steel to meet the needs of domestic steel industry as well as reduce the dependence of steel raw materials that are currently imported from overseas.
