KOLEK BOAT TRADITION

BATAM, 3/5 - TRADITION PERAHU KOLEK. A number of fishermen is practicing the traditional sail boat called kolek in the I Barelang Bridge Irrigation, Batam, Thursday (2/5). The kolek boat is a Malay traditional transportation tool in Riau Islands that began to be rare since the ingress of the motors in the beginning of the 80s of the past, today the community tried to revive the colear for attractions and tourists.
