GAMELAN CRAFT

SUKOHARJO, 29/4 - GAMELAN. A worker at a gamelan crafts centre in Wirun, Sukoharjo, April 29, 2008, burns a metal piece to be shaped into a gong (a traditional musical instruments). Craftsmen in Wirun complain about the rise of the price of the main material for gamelan, such as copper and white lead, which price reached Rp70,000/kg and Rp225,000/kg.
