CELEBRATION BWEE GWEE

A number of Chinese descendants pray when the celebration of Bwee Gwee or the Critical Day to the Earth God in the Holy Spirit, Jateng, Sunday (12/1). The event held every year once the Imlek and was followed by thousands of Chinese citizens from various regions in Indonesia such as Jakarta, Manado, Palembang to Yogyakarta is a manifestation of the expression of syukur to the Earth God.
