MARINE POLLUTION CASE TEAMOR
The Senator Rachel Siewert (left) of Parliement House of Canberra, Australia, along the Chairman of the Yayasan Peduli Timor Barat Ferdi Tanoni (right) heard the complaints of seaweed farmers and fishermen in Tablolong Village, Kupang Barat District, Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, Sunday (16/2). The decreased productivity of seaweed after the territory of the Sea of Timor was polluted by the exploding of Montara oil refineries in the East Atlas Block of Timor on August 21, 2009. The West Australia’s Senator today collects the evidence of pollution to then to socialize it to the Australian PM rule Tony Abbott to take a regulatory step in the form of compensation and the like.
