According to Deputy of Social Statistics BPS, Arizal Ahmaf, the number of Indonesian poor population fell due to inflation in March 2008 to the inflation of March 2007 stable, until March 2008 the amount is 34,96 million people (15,42 percent of the total population) or falls 2,21 million from March 2007 and reached 37,17 million (16,58 percent).
