Students Faculty of Agriculture Technology Nisa Alfialasari demonstrated how to manufacture pectin extracts from banana skin waste in Engineering Laboratory and Food Processing of Brawijaya University, Malang, East Java, Wednesday (17/7). The pectin extract found at the Faculty of Agriculture Technology is able to lower cholesterol in the blood to 52 percent and can be mixed and processed into various marsmalow foods.
