WEAVING SONGKET SIAK RIAU

A number of craftsmen made Songket Siak woven fabric crafts using traditional looms in the craft center of Riau Regional Craft Council in Pekanbaru City, Riau, Friday (12/9). Riau’s distinctive songket loom craft industry began to dip in Pekanbaru City because it was low to ask young generations to study it, and lose saing with the weaving results of other areas such as from West Sumatra.
