RITUAL JAYABAYA

A number of teen daughters cast flowers in the area of Sri Aji Jayabaya in the Win Village, Kediri, East Java, Saturday (25/10). The ritual at the Jayabaya parlor was held to commemorate the New Year of Java, 1 Suro 1948. Prabu Jayabaya is the king of Kadiri's kingdom who reigned about 1135 - 1157 M which is very famous for the future forecast of the archipelago (Indonesia) commonly called the Jayabaya Period.
