CIREBON, 3/10 – ADHAN. Seven muezzins lead the first adhan to Friday service at the Kasepuhan Great Mosque in Cirebon, West Java province, October 3, 2008. The adhan led by the seven muezzins, also known as “adzan pitu�, had become a tradition at the local mosque which was once used to send away diseases caught by the residents of the local kingdom.
