A number of workers with heavy equipment cut hills in Tembesi, Batam, Monday (3/11). Land cutting practices (cut and fill) for marak land diversation occur in Batam, it is done to attract investments by making Batam, Rempang and Galang have an area of 715 square kilometers or 115 percent of Singapore’s current area.
