TEMPORARY EVACUATION PLACE

Secretary General of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing of the People of Taufik Widjoyono (right) accompanied by the President of BNPB Doddy Riswandi (center) and the Head of the National Agency of Disaster Management Syamsul Maarif (rightthree) reviewed the Temporary Evacuation Place (TES) or the confounded tsunami shelter, in Padang, West Sumatra, Thursday (23/4). The Ministry of Public Works and People's Housing through Ditjen Cipta Karya has built a number of shelters in Indonesia, especially in disaster relief areas, with the aim of providing a safe taste and being a place of citizen protection when disaster occurs, such as earthquake and tsunami waves.
