STRANDED ASYLUM SEEKERS
A submerged asylum seeker in Rote on Sunday (31/5) and then, patching hands when arriving at the port of Tenau Kupang, NTT, Tuesday (2/6). A total of 65 New Zealand destination asylum seekers consisting of one nationality of Myanmar, 10 of Bangladesh and 54 originated from Srilangka managed to be secured by the police of the Regency of Rote Ndao NTT, when stranded in the Landu Ti Island, on Sunday (31/5) night, after being carved by Australian border troops.
