SAMELONA ISLAND REEF TRANSPLANT
The team of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Directorate General of Marine Space Management of the Maritime and Marine Resources Management (BPSL) Makassar conducts coral transplants in Samalona Island, Makassar, South Sulawesi, Friday (5/6). The transplant is a rehabilitation effort to the damaged corals around 11 hectares in the Samalona island area based on the results of 6-year spot image 2013 as well as being an appeal to those who want to learn about the process of coral transplantation.
