CELEBRATION OF CIU TIONG

Chinese Solo followed the wisdom of the Earth God in the framework of the celebration of the Hari Raya Tiong Ciu or mid-season at Jalan Jendral Sudirman, Solo, Central Java, Sunday (27/9). The celebration followed by 10 clenteng in Central Java is the tradition of Chinese citizens as a grateful expression of the earth gods who have preserved and gave the abundance of the earth’s results as well as the arrival of mid autumn according to the Imlek calendar.
