LARUNGAN IN NGEBEL TELAGA

Citizens lower the bouquet over the rackit when the larungan process in Telaga Ngebel, Ponorogo, East Java, Wednesday (14/10). The larungan ritual was held by indigenous people in eight villages around Telaga Ngebel as a village clean tradition while celebrating the New Year of Islam 1 Muharam 1437 Hijriah, which is also a new year in the Javanese manure or known as Grebeg Suro.
