MARINE WATER DISTILLATION DEVELOPMENT

The Mayor of Batam Ahmad Dahlan (buh) conducts the first stone of the development of seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) or seawater distillation into drinking water witnessed the Development Director of Drinking Water Supply System Ministry of Public Works and Housing of the People Mochammad Natsir (right three) in the Back Island of Padang, Batam, Riau Islands, Monday (7/12). The value of SWRO’s development project is Rp 13.5 Triliun where 20 percent uses APBN 2015 and the rest of the city’s government budget and provinces with a production capacity reaches five liters per second with a consumption of 30 liters per person per day and is able to serve 1,500 joints for the first stage.
