ELEPHANT SUMATERA THREATENED

Sumatran elephant (Elephas maximus sumatranus) is composed of Gajah Training Center (PLG) Minas Siak Regency, located in the residential area of residents in Pekanbaru, Riau, Sunday (28/2). The World Conservation Institute of International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) declared Sumatran elephants included in the red list of one of the most threatened species due to damage and reduced natural habitats, as well as wild hunting practices and illegal trades to be taken ivory and other parts of the body.
